The ACLU, Chapter Arizona filed a 'Motion for Leave to Appear as Amicus' to the State District Court and the assigned judge, Robert C. Broomfield [05/26/2003]. The motion was signed by well-known criminal attorney Larry Hammond and former appellate judge Rudolph Gerber.
